I'e been looking for a hydro and preferably an 84 or 85 w/ mfwd. The 84 and 85 would be lower and more utility tractor looking than the others. Like a 684 or 885. They also seem to be rarer than the others. The 84 and 85 are 4 cylinder engines. The others are 6 cylinder. The 84 and 85 have the same engine as an IH 784. PTO HP would be about 65-67. The drawbar HP is a lot less than you would get with the same engine w/ a conventional transmission (maybe 10% less). I'm not sure that a hydro would be a real advantage in doing hay over a regular transmission and it would probably use more fuel, a lot more if it is a gasser. Ask Allan in NE. JMHO Phil
