I used to watch my dad and grandpa use one about 50 years ago before they had a chainsaw, and it worked the dickens out of them. Today when I see one at an auction it just gives me the shudders looking at it. Can you imagine hooking that thing up with those Fankensteine teeth on that 80 to 100 year old blade and socking a tree limb in it. Ughhhhhhhh if that thing ever split, you'd die of old age before it ever quit rolling. And going through stuff.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
