Obviously off topic- some others are too. I have a 1988 compact import with 140K miles, bought new. For last 6 years, have driven only about 3K miles per year with it. Interior is all good except dash panel vinyl has cracked. Tax office says worth $500- so low taxes. Needs some work now, CV joints bad, rack and pinion steering leaking, AC compressor bad, needs paint badly, maybe $2K total. But if I took $2500 and bought another car, I probably would have poorer car than if I sent the money on mine. And new one depreciates more than $2500 the first day! This one should last another 20K-30K easy, which would be about when I should stop driving. So give me your opinions.
