Acetone will dissolve most foams. Probably want to scrape off as much as you can without damaging the underlying metal, then use whatever solvent works to take the rest off. You might also try using a plastic scraper (snow shovel, maybe???) to minimize damage to the underlying metal. Good luck, doesn't sound like something I'd want to tackle. Keith
