Drawbar Hole Size Question ?

Question here on what the original size of the drawbar rear hole should be on my tractor? Actually, it is a MH 20 (1946) but was there any "standard" used for those sized tractors (say between 2500 - 4000 pounds). most of those drawbars seemed to be 1" thick by 2" wide. What should the hole size be? I am making up a brandnew drawbar and the old one is so messed up with cuts and welds and bends a guy can't tell anything for sure.
