Dan, Don't pull the engine unless you're going to do overhaul work on it anyway. Just remove the instrument pedestal which houses the steering column. 4 cap screws hold the pedestal to the frame. This should give access to the power booster. I think you can work on the unit while it is mounted to the driveline. If you need to remove the unit, you may need to remove engine. I'm not sure as I've never done one with a power booster but I know the engine must be removed to remove Hydra-Powers from the 1600/1800s etc.
