Black things radiate heat better than things of any other color, hence, black ratdiators work better than radiators painted another color. Put two squares of plywood on the ground in the sun, one painted black, and one painted the other color you are interested in. Come back in an hour, and touch them with your hand. If there is a significant difference in temperature, your radiator performance will change as well.
