Sure, just put a little heat on it to expand it and it will come right off.Don't just heat it in one place.Mark its location first and then quarter its location.4 cylinder engines will always stop in only one of two places anyway.No need even to reverse the side of the gear.Heat it in an oven to make it easy to reinstall.Putting the flywheel in a freezer over night will let you drop the gear right into place.Then splash a little cold water on the gear to shrink the gear back on tight.Some people then put a couple spots of weld on them.
