Just my personal oppinion,I think it clings to parts longer than regular oil,and therefore, on old tractors that might only start once a week or month , I believe there will be more and better lube where it needs to be when you need it most. Same for classic cars. I use it! Some have other opinions. Your question was "will it hurt", NO!
