Kubotas are very good tractors. MF is coming out with a new 500 series which has the best 3 pt. hitch. They also have some Japanese compacts that are pretty nice. Especially the cab models. The small JD's could be Yanmars. There are a lot of options. I would really shop around. JD's are a lot more money and so are their parts. They all can break down. Check out the dealers. Dave
