I worked for a large industrial concern that installed electric motors from 50 to 800 H.P. in their products and our warranty claims were excessive due to motor replacement originating from bearing failure. We concluded the motor manufacturer was not adequately greasing the bearings and that what grease they did put in was caking. We did a thorough evaluation of various greases and decided to go with a Chevron product that I believe was SRI-1. This may have been an industrial product but I now use a similar product that I get from the the Chevron distributor. I will post the particulars after I go to the shop. I would like you to post the info for the grease you decide on for the pin/bushing application as I am not happy with what I am using in this application. Thanks
