Don't get me wrong a block heater is a good thing but, when you need the tractor and your snowed in the halegen light works just great and works well. Which in my case is what happened so I had to have the tractor and didn't have the option of installing a block heater plus don't have the $$ for a block heater. All the tractors I have tried to start on the place would start but that didn't help when none of them will work to plow the snow but this ford which has the snow plow set up on it so it was a case of HAVE TO make run not well if it does fine if it doesn't fine.
