I've got a fuel oil furnace in my shop that's been giving me headaches.Sometimes the furnace won't do anything when i turn up the thermostat, sometimes it works.Recently the thermostat doesn't do anything so i hit the reset button on the furnace motor and it lights.Today after hitting the reset button the motor would run,but not light.I tipped the transformer up about 1/2 inch till i saw spark jump across the copper contacts and it lights.I've had several furnace people look at it the last couple years and they all tell me to get a new furnace, but it's only 10 years old.I figured you guys could figure it out.Thanks.
