Maybe we should think of them as those whos parents could not afford to send them to college.Not all branches of the service give "sign on money".Its just an organization [hopefully legit]trying to help them like the mom and her church sending her son the silly string for trying to locate trip wires.They said "air miles" too.Maybe someone is not using them and would gladly give them to a serviceperson.Lighten up.Do you live near a base where some jarhead kicked your butt in a local bar?If they are so fortunate and well off join them yourself.The military personnel is not begging for money.Now the cops wanting me to donate for bulletproof vests,well go buy your own job tools.Thats a scam.
