The "coulda been worse" comments that some have offered below are hollow statements. That's like saying that someone has syphillis, gonnerhea, herpes, genital warts and a couple of unidentified VD bugs but it "could be worse". Face it, the car is nothing but a money pit in the young guy's life, nothing more nothing less. Sure, it coulda been worse, but it coulda been better (ie. if he had not bought it). A money pit is a money pit and in my opinion, that's all that needs saying in the matter as far as was it a smart move or not.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
