Depending on the part of course, but I "usually" try to search out an original part. Kinda like the old tractors themselves; I just trust the old stuff that was manufactured back when there was a bit of pride in the product and things weren't built for a throw-away society. Probably why I've spent the past three hours setting here combing an original evaporator rather than just buying a new aftermarket. It's a trust thing; I know that old bugger will work. :>) Allan

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
