I've got an '04 with the same engine. Commute 40 miles each way every day, all interstate, run it pretty hard. It's comfortable, quite, and lots of power where I want it (Not the low end). Very stable, anti-lock, anti-slip, on-demand 4WD (4-motion), good safety ratings. It's what I need. No troubles at 30K miles. This is affectionatley known as the "sludge engine", same as in the Audi's. Do a search on sludge engine and learn.
