It really doesn't matter whether you a talking 140 plow or 140 tractor with it's plow. the biggest single cause of plows not penetrating soil is worn out plow points and shares. Set your plow level on a floor, if the points look like sled runners, that is exactly how they will act, and they will ride any plow right out of the soil. As Allan said the points have to suck that plow down. Like Allan, I am a bit curious whether that plow is the #140 plow or the 140 tractor with plow?
