Raleigh, I Do like the way your are Thinking! But you need a "Small Frame" tractor for that 158 loader. Simply shift you attention to the other JD tractor that most folks simply dismiss all too quickly...ie,,,4320, 4520, 4620!!! I really like the 4520/4620s simply because they have right size the hp, Can be found with Power Shifts still. Both already have the heavier front axles like the 30 series have. The only drawback I can see is the PTO is usually 1000 only! Anyway...That is a direction to look at! OR simply if the standard tranny isn't a consideration on the 5020, find a good one, sell the 158 and locate one that will fit that big girl! Hope this helps! Later, John A.
