If those hoses just had regular, non-swivel, straight male pipe thread on there, I think you may have gotten hosed. I ussually go to a company that sepcializes in making hoses of all sorts, not just hydraulic but hydrant hoses, water, spray rigs, etc, and they sell all sorts of rubber products (belts, o-rings, etc.) just short of selling tires. They stock Goodyear, Parker(pioneer is a branch of Parker), Banjo, and a few other brands I can't think of. A short 3' hose w/ regular fitting $1.50-2.50/fitting and about $2/foot at the most for the hose. Belts are a hechuva lot cheaper too. Saved myself about $100 from not goiing with Agco belts for our NI haybine this summer. Cheaper than the hardware stores too, and they're located just across town. Donovan from Wisconsin
