just having few around, less than 6-7. With butchering 1-3 good eaters/ year. Pasture would be small between 3 and 8 acres. Would like to fence off the corn feilds for fall/winter eating of stalks and adding some cow poop. I have been around dairy cattle most my life, but most freinds I talk to arfe pretty biased. Also would cob corn have too much fiber for beef cattle. I am shopping now, but have no problem waiting till spring/summer to buy, as I have to plant my crops this spring for grain, bedding, and hay for the cattle i will have. Will I be able to sustain enough crops for a few on 23-30 acres of tillable ground. Just looking for some advice as this next year will be a learning exp.
