I went in for the decom. therapy. 3yrs. ago I blew a disc, L-5, in my lower back while at work. I saw an ad in the paper about the therapy. I made an appointment and went in. Basically, this is how the machine works. They put a harness on you, and then you're strapped to this table, they tilt the table to target the problem area in your back, also they can treat your neck. The machine can be adjusted for the torque of pull. You are on the machine for about 25 mins. you may feel a slight pull on the harness. The machine pulls, then lets up, then pulls again. You don't really feel any discomfort. After my 3rd. treatment, I felt a definant change in my back for the better. One thing though, Gravity will, eventually take away what the machine does for you as your disc compresses back down. So you might have to make it a regularly scheduled thing. But, maybe becaused your disc is not blown, it could fix you better. It does work. Good luck, Jack
