Raleigh what sort of work will this machine be doing and do you have any implements to attach to it. Like you I pondered over various machines. I have found one or two implements (slasher and trailed offset harrows)cost more than I spent on the tractor. Being a 30 year old machine I then spent half what I originally paid for it to get it up and running properly. To justify all this expense they need to be worked often and to work them you need gear to attach to them. The costs do add up. If you buy the right gear you can always count on getting a fair percentage of your costs back if and when you resell. Cheers mitch
