560 Diesel Pump - How To Adjust

I bought a 560 Diesel yesterday and wide open in neutral it governors out at 1850 to 1900 rpm, I was thinking the 656 and some 706 had this same engine and the rpms were higher with more HP. IS there a way I can adjust the pump to get more horse out of it or were the 656 and 706 different besides the pump adjustments. I heard some where you can adjust the pump but I do not know how. Can someone tell me how? Thanks, Robert
