The entire line up from the 150 up was available with narrow front ends. U.S. market tractors in 1968 were 135/150/165/175/180/1080/1100/1130. To help narrow it down a bit, was this tractor a utility style or flat deck? (Did you sit straddle of the transmission or on a level "floor"?) Flat-deck models were 180 and up. Any Multipower tractor would have had the 6-speed. (2X3) So the tranny description sound correct. That would have been common throughout the entire line. But were the shifters on the top of the tranny or on the dash? (On the tranny would indicate utility model) Can you recall how big of a plow he used with the tractor? That might help narrow things down a bit.
