Alg How does this mare act other than the diarhea? Normal? Is she running a temp at all? Is she lethargic? If she seems normal other than the diarhea ,She may have an ulcer. It is hard to diagnose without seeing her. You may try putting her on some Kaopectate 60cc orally 2x/day for a week and see if it helps. If you suspect an ulcer( which can be caused by high concentrate(grain) ration)you need to get a product called gastroguard. The liquid Tagamet also works well, but you can't always find it. try backing off the grain totally as you mentioned and try feeding a good quality grass hay. Not veterinary advice just neighborly advice.
