Mike I've seen that set up on newer loader tractors. Press and hold the button to make the joystick operate the grapple instead of the tilt(I think). It works like you said, by operating a solenoid to switch flow from one set of cylinders to the other. John

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
