True dual exhaust with straight pipes and cheap glass-packs - will sound good but not get excessively loud, and you don't have to worry about a ticket for having no mufflers. I don't think it has anything to do with fuel-injection. Plenty of fuel-injected trucks here in town have cackling exhaust.
