Just currious as to what part of Indiana are you in? I have a really great trans shop in northern Indiana that I without question trust. (Certified Transmission owned by Don Kuwicki) I'm a former GM SAE certified technician, but transmissions were not my favorite thing to work on. I specialized in heavy engine repair and forwarded my trans work to Don. I agree based on what Allen in NE started about the temp switches. The default is second gear in most 4L80E trans and I think that this also applies to the 4L60E. I got stupid and went back to school and became the dreaded engineer I used to curse out daily for the way they engineered a vehicle. I'm still farming with pre computerized equipment and have not intention to go thru the same problems you are having with your transmission. I know technology is great and has many places in todays world but when my dealer comes to the field to run a scan as to way the combine or tractor won't run or move, give me a JD 4020, IH 1066 and I won't complain one bit.- Ken

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
