I was SCUBA diving with 1/4" neoprene gloves. I was down about 35" and all I could get out of my mouth piece was water. The regulator seperated from the mouth piece and floated behind me. I reach around for it but could not feel a thing. I went for my back-up regulator and had the same problem. I tried one more time and was miliseconds from bolting to the surface. This can kill you. My dive buddy saved my life. He got me fixed up and saved me again because he grabed my ankle and slowed my panic assent to the surface. Gloves almost killed me.
