You're heading into the mileage area where maintenance costs tend to go up for a while. This is when radiators spring leaks, hoses need replacing, the transmission decides it wants to be rebuilt, etc.

It's not cost prohibitive compared to the cost of a new vehicle, but generically, the free ride period tends to start ending about now.
