If JD is so big and so bad, why do they have to get the Japanese to build their tractors for them now? (i.e. Yanmar) Why did Harry Ferguson have to invent the 3 point hitch, which is STILL used on brand new tractors today? Did JD even have a hitch? And you don't EVEN want to hitch up a Deere with a (loosely used) "comparable" Farmall. The Red Machine will ruin your day, and probably your axle & tranny too. Farmall is still around, but under a different name: Case/IH - which is about to combine with the Ford tractors, New Holland, to form the biggest tractor mfg. operation ever! - All American too! I am a Ford person myself, but I agree with the others here - Farmall built this country! Green & Yellow? - I don't think so, Tim. TD : )
