I've had a Mac (imac G5) for almost two years now and would never go back to a Gateway or other PC. Two main reasons: 1. No annoying anti-virus, spyware programs to buy or constantly update. 2. Everything is contained in the monitor. No modem tower to take up floor space and bang into. I''m no tech guy at all and bought the Mac for Dummies book to start out but really didn't need it. The new Mac runs Windows easily I've read. Macs cost a little more but worth it. Hey, its only money......
