My wife started shopping for a new laptop a couple of months ago and at first the computer shop told her to wait until they went to a meeting to get the low down on the upcoming Vista. Well, she waited, and now computer shop is still inconclusive about Vista. They too have the "wait six months" attitude. Vista has more 'kid' controls so it will be asking you "do you really want to do this" several times before it will let you get into some programs. Sounds real annoying to me. I wouldn't be too worried about bugs because they will come out with fixes when needed. Oh yes, she's looking at a Dell. Jim
