To prevent trailor theft a local shop will cut off the ball hitch and build a sort of tubing with holes drilled to match holes in tubing on trailer and pull off hitch when parked and store in pickup. Not much chance a thief would take the time to try to rig up some thing to hitch to.What do you think,is this a good idea.or too much trouble??
