When I was in about third grade, I went to my dentist for a cleaning. I told him I had a loose tooth, purely in the interest of starting a conversation. He looked at me and said, "I don"t care about your tooth. I"m just worried about the money."

That was pretty confusing to a third grader! I told my parents what he said, and we got a new dentist soon after.
