The "revised" 6.0 that came out in 2005 is almost a totally differant engine then the 2003-2004 6.0. Considering the massive issues that it had (especially the cheap injectors) everyone in involved would have been better off if they had changed its designation to the 6.1 to differientiate from the earlier version. The biggest issue on the earlier FORD powerstrokes was leaky injectors (desiel in the oil pan is never good). International sourced Seimens injectors. Ford wanted Bosch because they offered better controllability for emissions and reliability.
