My mistake about Ford and Cummins..I saw it in a farm equipment publication some years ago and thought it was gospel..I haven't heard much about the DuraMax...Is that good or bad??? Usually when Isuzu gets involved in an engine , it's pretty good..All the snowmobilers and bikers say it's tough to beat Jap horsepower..I've had a good bit of experience with Japanese engines in equipment..A particular case is a Koehring 6614 with Isuzu power that has just over 17,000 hours!!!!! I've rebuilt Kubota engines for a water taxi service in Cleveland , Ohio...and rebuilt Hino diesels in excavators..All very well engineered engines...
