Does it still have all it's horsepower. Sometimes carbon will build up in the intake manifold which restricts the flow causing extra vacuum consequently frosting. We had that problem on tractors brought to our shop, mainly when the farmer used FS gasoline. Next time you have the carb off, stick your finger up the intake and feel around a bit. Bye the way, your air cleaner isn't choked up, is it?
