Thanks for your reply. There is a straight drawbar beneath the shaft and I have tried various supporting designs for the pump. I think the key, as you have mentioned, is getting enough dampening material in the design. I will keep working on it. As far as the pump design goes, it is a Farmhand brand with the intake and outlet on the left side with the pump rotating clockwise. It is 6 inches deep, ~ 5-6 inches wide, and ~8-10 inches tall. I know it isn't a piston pump, but am unsure if it is a vane or gear design. I would lean toward vane-but I have never had the pump apart and don't have a manual for it to consult. I'll inform you of new results when I get to it. Thanks again.
