As you have surmized, I have been trying to understand your problem and through a process of elimination conclude the source of your vibration. We have eliminated several areas and now I also have a better understanding of the vibration. I too am beginning to think that the vibration is originating from your mounting technique. Does the tractor have a regular straight drawbar protruding under the PTO shaft? If it does can you fabricate a base for the pump and stabilize the pump by affixing it to the drawbar. Height position needs to be fairly accurate as to not put any of the system under stress through misalignment. Sandwiching a couple of pieces of tire casing in the mounting mechanism would do wonders toward reducing the vibration. Continue to post your results. PS... Do you know if this is a vane, gear, or piston pump?
