Whoa whoa whoa...doesn't that have an adjuster on it? Have you backed it off? If that drum is worn with a grove in it and the brake bands are in the groove,it's not going to come off NO HOW. If it's like the older Fords there should be a plug like the band brakes on a car or pickup. Take it out and back off the adjuster.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
