Just checked the books, didn't see any "set" screws of anything else that retains the drum.
that's a good thing.

heat is a good thing to use....however, there is a posibility of...A), warping or taking the temper out of the brake drum. and B) if heating the the Axle, (posted above), you may roast the seal, (say..Ne-O-prene). But, that may be what your trying to get to in the first place.

I do like the idea of grinding off the head of the retaainers (on the backside)...how come I never thought of that?...must be the caveman in me....

be careful w/the torch, have your fire extinguisher close by...sl
