I can't speak on the economy thing,but I will give a plug to Lucas. I bought a White 2-135 in September some time back. It was fine that fall,but in the spring when I started chisel plowing,oil ran out of the rear main in a stream. I put one bottle of Lucas additive in it and the result was,I'm not going to say immediate,but by the end of the day,huge improvement,3-4 days,almost complete.
