I had an old F350 one ton stake bed dump truck.
Weighed 6500 pounds empty. Heaviest I ever went across the scales was 13500 pounds carrying gravel. Tare weight was 3.5 tons of gravel. Or I could carry 3 cubic yards of top soil no problem. Mite could have carried 4 cubic yards. Bed of the truck was 9 feet long and 7 feet wide. I had 2 sets of sideboards for it. 2 feet tall and 4 feet tall. Which ones I used depended on what I was carrying. I miss my dump truck. Wish I had never sold it. Pooh Bear
