You say 100 HP tractor so I guess cat 2 hitch. I would suggest a three point hay bale carrier of the type that has two heavy spears about 3 to 4 feet long to go under the bale. It looks something like a fork lift. Tilt the carrier forward and pile the lengths of wood on the forks. You can back the tractor near the piles throw the wood an and drive to the next pile. I have made two brackets that fit on the outer ends of the forks that allow me to stand a log upright to hold even more on my unit.
