Does it have a motor starter on the side of the compressor ??? They generally look like a black or gray box screwed to the frame of the compressor. What the motor starter does it supply energy to the motor after the pressure switch has opened up. When the pressure switch closes the motor starter turns off and then turns you motor off. If you do not, you can buy one and wire it inline with your compressor. They can be a pain in the butt to wire up though. It took me about 2 hours to wire mine up because the schematic I had was junk. You can find them on ebay pretty cheaply. Scott
