Thanks very much to everyone who expressed a view in response to my post the other day, "Which one to buy?" I'm sure what I get will have more to do with availability, price and "feel" than anything else, but I will be looking for an MF35 or an Oliver Super 55, or something similar.

But boy that picture of an Oliver 1950 in this site's photo gallery looks like a tractor to me! I assume those lugged front tires means its a four wheel drive tractor.

Here's my question: Did anyone in the 50's or early 60's make a smaller, low center of gravity 4x4 tractor? Especially for snow plowing, I would think this would make a big difference.
