I don't seem to have a spark--assuming that I did that correctly. The starter turns the engine over fine. And just for the experience, I opened the drain plug at the bottom of the carb, and there was definitely a good steady flow of gas.

In case you've read my other post & are wondering: yes, I replaced the coil & distributor, reconnecting the spark plug wires & the top wire on the coil before checking for spark at the spark plug.

I haven't seen anything obviously wrong with the distributor, but then I'm not sure what I'm looking for either.
