I'm building myself another service truck it's a '95 GMC 3500HD with the infamous 6.5 diesel. Nothing on the original engine was worth reusing block, crank, heads, camshaft were all ruined. I got another engine from a 93-94 Chevy van course it's non-turbo but luckily the turbo was good on the original engine. I like the mechanical injection pump better anyway should be more reliable than the electronic models. The purpose of my post is to inquire if anyone knows what the difference in the heads are on the early models 93-94 versus 95-up I am looking for a set of heads still, I found a pair off a 96 but the guy tells me they dont fit a 93-94 application. Thanks for any help
